ApconiX are experts in cardiac and CNS electrophysiology, target safety assessments (TSAs) and in all aspects of nonclinical toxicology and DMPK project support. ApconiX was formed with the objective to give companies of all sizes access to the breadth and depth of safety expertise generally only available in large pharma.

Our lab team conduct hERG and CiPA cardiac screening assays and in silico work and have developed in vitro assays to better understand CNS liability (iLA seizure® and iLA CNS®) in human-relevant models by ion channel screening and microelectrode array analysis. We actively research and publish in other fields relevant to efficacy and safety.

The ApconiX Safety Science team combines deep toxicological expertise and advanced data science, offering customized Acuity® TSAs. Our toxicologists also conduct weight of evidence assessments, modality or asset focused reports and will support you in understanding and optimizing project safety profiles.
