What We Do
ACT is a professional society of more than 1,300 experts representing industry, government, and academia. Its mission is to educate, lead, and support scientists by fostering the exchange of knowledge and perspectives on safety assessment and emerging advances in applied toxicology. Members benefit from year‑round educational programs, the society’s flagship Annual Meeting, and its peer‑reviewed publication, the International Journal of Toxicology.
At the core of ACT is the Annual Meeting, held each November. The Scientific Sessions—developed and driven by members—are carefully curated to deliver exceptional learning opportunities and highlight the latest developments in the field.
